CCM Shootout Round Four Complete
With the 2011 Division wrapped up, the CCM Shootout still has three rounds to go!
The 2022-23 CCM Shootout differs from most 200×85 events. What makes this event special is how it spans multiple weekends, where only one age group competes per weekend. This not only provides a spotlight for each age group but allows them to have a more personal and intimate experience on the University of Notre Dame’s campus and its gorgeous Compton Family Ice Arena.
There are three remaining divisions to compete including the 2009’s (January 6-8, 2023), 15U’s (January 20-22, 2023), and 2012’s (January 27-29, 2023). To this point, 2011, 2010, 2008, and 16U divisions have concluded. There have been 58 teams attending the CCM Shootout so far amassing 892 goals over 145 games.Â
The CCM Shootout does not include a playoff-style format that produces a champion, instead it is a five-game showcase style weekend of elite teams. Only the London Jr. Knights (2010 Division), Markham Waxers (2010 Division), Oakland Jr. Grizzlies (2008 Division), Madison Capitols (2008 Division), and Quinte Red Devils (2008 Division) were able to leave the event undefeated in regulation.
