Kevin Mann explains why 2022 is going to be a special year for 200×85

Just 3 weeks into the New Year, and 200×85 is already off to a rockin’ start. After wrapping up an amazing MLK Invite this past weekend, the crew is already chomping at the bit for more tournament action. Alongside our partners at CCM Hockey, we’re hosting 19 tournaments throughout 2022, Development Clinics and a  once in a lifetime European experience. 

‘Fired up,’ would be an understatement for Kevin Mann, the President and CEO of 200×85. The captain of our team competed at the youth, junior, and college levels, and coached at some of the NCAA’s premier Division I programs. Armed with over three decades of experience, it’s safe to say that he knows a thing or two about hosting world class hockey tournaments.

“We had some great momentum in 2021 and we look forward to carrying that momentum into 2022,” said Kevin. “Our team at 200×85, along with CCM hockey, have put together a great tournament calendar that I know will make our customers excited. The teams signed up to compete with us are some of the very best in North America and we look forward to providing our world-class tournaments to them in 2022.”

So what sets 200×85’s tournaments apart from the rest? To make a long story short, it’s the attention to detail. “A successful event means much more than meeting people’s expectations, it means exceeding them,” Kevin stated. “It starts by paying attention to the small things on everything we touch. By doing the little things right, we never have to settle for anything less than a premier product.”

200×85 is cranking it up a notch to make sure 2022 is one for the record books. If you aren’t ready to run through a brick wall yet, here are a few events  you should get excited for:

• MORE action with our friends at CCM Hockey, including the CCM 68, CCM Euro Invite, and CCM Detroit Motown (just to name a few). 
• The CCM World Invite Chicago is the largest hockey tournament in the entire world, bringing over 500 teams to Chicago this November. 
• Our Tier II CCM Michigan Classic attracts the best teams across North America.  Because of its popularity we are expanding the event throughout Michigan.
• The CCM Nations Cup is guaranteed to be the most unique tournament you’ll compete in this season.
