ENJOY SUMMER ‘23 WITH 200×85 AND CCM HOCKEY

The summer of 2022 is officially over. Did you spend your summer getting better at hockey? Did you train with the top players in the country? Did you get a cultural experience in Europe? 200×85 did all of these in the summer of 2022 and will be doing the same in 2023. We are in the process of finalizing our 2023 summer schedule. What should you expect next summer and how do you join us? Keep reading to find out.

CCM SELECTS

Our CCM Selects team training & competition camps are 3-day camps that guide the competitive player through a multi-faceted, intensive approach to training and game competition. For the summer of 2023, the CCM Selects will be in various cities for multiple age groups. The effect that this program will have on athletes is revolutionary, no other program has put more players in Division I college programs or in the US National Team!

Over the last three NHL Drafts, 65 former CCM Selects players have been selected, including three first-round picks and four second-round picks. If your athlete has a goal that they want to accomplish or take their game to the next level, then this is the program to make it happen.

CCM SELECTS EUROPE

Want to get the whole family involved, check out our European hockey tours! The CCM Selects Europe are our teams that attend the CCM World Invites Bratislava, Slovakia, and Bled, Slovenia. These are two of the world’s most unique summer hockey tournaments, and we are excited to send 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 birth year teams to Slovenia and 2008 and 2009 birth year teams to Slovakia in the summer of 2023.

Last summer, the CCM Selects teams faced teams representing Czechia, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland, and Russia. As the only American team in the event, the CCM Selects players gained valuable exposure to European talent in a highly competitive tournament.

“Our CCM Selects teams were able to compete with some of the top international hockey clubs in the Bled Euro Invite,” said Justin Lewandowski, VP of Hockey Operations at 200×85. “It is an incredible experience to witness the different styles of hockey on the big ice. Players received exposure to new languages and philosophies in a different environment.”

CCM 68 & CCM 68 FUTURES

The CCM 68 is the best pound-for-pound boys and girls Bantam Major camp in America. Each year, we round up the top sixty-eight boys and girls players in the U14 age group for four days of training, competition, and preparation for the next step of their careers.

The top thirty-six forwards, twenty-four defensemen and eight goalies at the boys and girls 2009 birth year will be invited to Chicago and split into four evenly matched teams. These teams will be led by a star-studded coaching roster, including coaches from the NHL, AHL, and NCAA levels, who will run training, testing, and an education that highlights every aspect of the game.

But what makes this development camp stand out from the rest? Long story short, the sheer amount of high caliber of talent in attendance and the minimal fee assessed to each player selected. No other training camp in America gets this many U14 stars under one roof. Over the last eight years, the CCM 68 has produced countless NCAA Division I players, thirty-two USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program players, and several NHL stars. At the 2022 NHL Draft alone, CCM 68 alumni accounted for thirteen picks, including four first-rounders.

Not a 2009 birth year? The CCM 68 Futures program is for 2010 birth years. This program will be offered in multiple cities and is a teaching-based camp, spanning three days with heavy instruction, equipment fitting, product analysis, and two high-profile games. The CCM 68 Futures offers 2010 birth years the opportunity to be evaluated before their final 14U Bantam Major season.

CCM CHICAGO BRICK

If you are a 2013 or 2014 birth year, you may want to be familiar with our CCM Chicago Brick team. What is the Brick tournament? It is one of the most prestigious hockey events available for players at the 10 & Under age level. Select teams from all over North America will travel to Edmonton, Alberta to compete with elite opponents, but also several off-ice activities, including the famous Brick Tournament Beach Party at the Water Park and skills competition which makes the tournament a fun-filled hockey experience for the entire family.

The CCM Chicago Brick team is the only sanctioned program (for the past 13 years) that can bring an Illinois team to the event. If you want your opportunity to be a part of our Chicago Brick Team we will be hosting evaluations this November 8th at Mount Prospect Ice Arena.
