What Makes the CCM 68 Elite?

This Year the Top 2009’s will be at CCM 68 and 2010’s at CCM Futures

There is a reason why the CCM 68 is heralded as the best pound-for-pound Boys and Girls Bantam Major camp in America. With the top 36 forwards, 24 defensemen, and 8 goalies from the Bantam Major age group all training under one roof for three straight days, it does not get much better than that.

Each year, we round up 68 of the Nation’s best 14U hockey players, split them into four teams, and run them through a pro-style training camp that features competition, testing, and educational sessions led by NHL, AHL, and NCAA coaches.

One of the reasons that CCM 68 is so unique is the combine testing component, which provides athletes with access to some of the most advanced ice hockey evaluation and analysis systems in the world. This on-ice combine utilizes a state-of-the-art gate system with automated timing and measurement, used for various on-ice testing combines that measure agility, speed, stick handling, and reaction time. Test scores will allow players to gauge their abilities against local and national percentiles.

No other training camp in America features this many U14 stars under one roof for four days of training, learning, and competing. This event is 90% subsidized by 200×85 and CCM because CCM 68 is designed to be a lifetime experience and opportunity for only the most elite players in the 14U age group, and not about financial status.

Over the last eight years, the CCM 68 has served as a launch pad for more than 100 Division I players, 32 members of USA Hockey’s National Team Development Program players, and 15 NHL draftees.

At the 2022 NHL Draft alone, four out of the seven Americans drafted in the first round were CCM 68 Alumni, including Logan Cooley, Cutter Gauthier, Frank Nazar, and Rutger McGroarty, followed by nine more CCM 68 alumni in the subsequent rounds.

This year CCM 68 returns but for the next wave of Bantam Major players. Here are the details you need to know:
